Restless Temple – a mechanized sculpture created to be in constant motion with the force of wind and gravity. Restless Temple is the creation of artist and designer Penny Saunders with the help of engineers. The work of art is „a monument to our ambitious and insecure ingenuity – always at the mercy of the forces of nature“ as opposed to stone monuments that celebrate „immortal power“. The Restless Temple is in the Tremencher Sculpture Gardens, a place of impressive community art and landscape.
